1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LingCode macOS application, command-line interface, website at lingcode.dev, and the LingCode Slack integration (collectively, the "Services"), operated by HainanMandi Tech ("we," "our," or "us"). By installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of the Services

LingCode is a developer tool that provides AI-assisted coding and related features. The LingCode Slack integration lets you mention the LingCode bot in a channel to ask questions and receive AI-generated replies, and lets you post release announcements from the LingCode app to a Slack channel you choose. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you install the Slack integration on behalf of a workspace, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to grant the permissions requested during installation. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials associated with your use of the Services.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users' data, or related systems;
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
Use the Services to transmit malware, spam, or abusive content;
Reverse engineer or misuse the Services in a manner not permitted by these Terms.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Services use artificial intelligence to generate responses and other content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it. We do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated output.

6. Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with third-party platforms, including Slack and AI model providers accessed through our backend. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.

7. Privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to the data practices described there.

8. Fees

The LingCode app and the Slack integration are provided free of charge. If you use AI features that rely on a provider you configure, you are responsible for any costs charged by that provider. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, the applicable pricing will be disclosed before you incur any charge.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including their design, code, and trademarks, are owned by HainanMandi Tech or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the code, files, and content you create. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HainanMandi Tech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time, including by uninstalling the app or removing the Slack integration from your workspace. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the location of HainanMandi Tech, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
