Integration

LingCode for Slack

Bring your AI coding assistant into Slack. Mention @LingCode to ask questions about your project, and get automatic release announcements posted to your channel whenever you ship.

Add to Slack

Installs into the workspace you choose. You can remove it any time from your Slack admin.

What it does

Ask your codebase

Mention @LingCode in any channel to ask a question and get an instant AI answer — no switching to your IDE. Replies stay in-thread so the conversation reads cleanly.

Ship & Announce

When you ship from the LingCode Mac IDE, LingCode posts a release announcement to your chosen channel: a plain-English summary, the commits that went out, and changelog highlights.

How to install

  1. Click the Add to Slack button above.
  2. Choose the workspace to install into and approve the requested permissions.
  3. In Slack, invite the bot to a channel with /invite @LingCode, then try @LingCode hello.
  4. To post release announcements, connect the same workspace from the LingCode Mac app under Settings → Ship & Announce and pick a channel.

Permissions & privacy

LingCode requests only the scopes it needs to read mentions, read channel info for the channel picker, and post messages. It does not read your message history beyond the threads it is mentioned in. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
